 It is a Chinese origin (the name Indian Hawthorn is wrong) ornamental evergreen shrub which is very popular for its good tolerance and long-lasting flowering beginning in May! The best to grow it as a container plant, however it can be winter hardy in very protected places as well. It is gratefully blooming either in hot sun or in partial shade, thus it can be an eye-catching ornament of the balcony when it is in beautiful full bloom!
