It is a version, created as the seedling of the sort McIntosh in Canada, 1900. It is an extremely tasty, large, carmine-red colour apple, washed slightly in green. It has cracking juicy, aromatic, sweet-acid, extremely pleasant, flesh with unique flavor. Ripens in late September, it can be stored till January.
