 It is a low statured round-leaved beautiful perennial succulent plant, forming a 3.9-5.8-inch thick mat on the ground. Its leaves are initially green coloured then become greenish-red. The flowers are crimson in colour, they bloom en masse in August. The autumn foliage is orange-red, really very nice! It grows excellently even in dry, poor quality of soil!
