The flowers appear in clusters of 4-12 from July to September, blossoming at the tips of this year`s (horizontal) shoots.
The vividly orange flowers of the variety Ursynow opens in profusion from July to September and it starts blooming in the 1st or 2nd year after planting. Quite frost hardy.
